My son is in a autistic class and is blind and non verbal along with his autism and all I hear is his behavior which is not often he grabs and tries to bite at times he never went to school till nine and was severely abused at foster home I adopted him in November, so he has lots of reason be frustrated learning signs not being able to communicate but it is a part of autism behaviors the school just says maybe not right placement they do have to try right? always says that there concern but its a autism class

I have been dealing with this with my son, yes the school has to try. You have the right to allow him to stay there and go to school. They have to make sure that they have tried everything possible to make sure your son gets the right to an education. They will try to back you into a corner, but it's you who decides what's best for your child. Hope that helps!
