I was a bit surprised when I got onto my blog this morning and received the following comment on my page in regards to Intervention types:
No. That’s not what intervention means.
Intervention means outside interference with the intention to stop something negative, destructive, dysfunctional or dangerous.
In medicine an intervention is a treatment done to CHANGE the course of a pathologic process, like cutting out cancerous cells. Not any treatment is “intervention”.
