My husband has never called me or his daughter or any one else by their name. Is this aspergers or just my husband ?
I have a hard time reading names too.
It s Not that he cant read a name And he DOES know what a person's name is . He simply will not say it to their face . He has Never in 46 years called me by my name to my face
Won't implies a lack of desire. Does he say he doesn't wish to address you by name or that he can't? It makes a difference in ASD folks. There is an idiosyncratic thing that happens to me where I wish to make a phone call but I just 'can't'. It is hard to understand but if you do some reading on ASD you may figure out that he really can't even if he wishes to say your name.
